he revered 94-year old Plaza Hotel,  with its Edwardian opulence, was the perfect venue. Said General Manager Maître Hôtelier Gary Schweikert, "The Plaza was extremely proud to host this event. Our Grand Ballroom, reminiscent of Versailles, provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate an anniversary of an organization with its roots in a period when events on a grand scale were held routinely for royalty. We love working with the Chaîne because its members are so appreciative, and we were pleased to be able to provide, for this special occasion, not only the appropriate venue but also a unique dining experience and a style of service not customary these days."
