Who's Responsible for What

The local Vice Chargé de Presse, who is appointed by his or her Bailli, is responsible for public relations and submitting reports to Gastronome. He or she should discuss magazine and press coverage with the Bailli prior to each event, arrange to have suitable photographs taken, and prepare and submit a report as soon as possible after the event takes place. Reports should be submitted to the Chargé de Presse Provincial.

The Chargé de Presse Provincial is responsible for seeing that his or her region is well represented in Gastronome. In addition to assisting each bailliage with its reporting, many Chargés de Presse Provinciaux do preliminary editing. After reports are in their proper form, the Chargé de Presse Provincial forwards them to the magazine's editor.

The Publications Committee, which is comprised of both Directors and Ex-officio members, meets on a regular basis to discuss policy and recommend any changes to the Board of Directors.
