Gastronome Check List

Important Basics

  • Prepare a written report of an event right after it takes place.
  • Collect photos to be submitted and carefully follow labeling instructions.
  • Mail all event materials to your Regional Chargé(e) de Presse as soon after the event takes place as possible.

Event Report print-out (on computer disk or typed) enclosed? Word count (article only? Have you included the following basic information: Bailliage? Date of event? Theme (if any)? Place? Food served? Wines served (with vintages? Key restaurant personnel? Special guests? Inductees (number)? Promotions or awards (names and titles)? Your name and title as the report's author? Other items of special interest?

  • Computer diskette enclosed, labeled with event name and program used?

  • Invitation and Menu enclosed (or photocopy of all pages)?

  • Photos enclosed? Photo credit, if necessary? List of photos at end of report? Typed identification taped to reverse of each photo including name of bailliage, event and caption?
